Laurel's Tips for 3 stars: Potions: Extra Bubbles and Golden Spiders.
Look at the screen above: the only color bubbles are Red and Blue.
To drop the whole screen you only have to hit the bubble on the RIGHT SIDE of the screen, so do not waste bubbles on the left side. (NOTE: if you hit the red bubble on the left side, ALL the bubbles in your cauldron will turn to blue. That makes it impossible to surround bombs! So DO NOT hit the left side!)
This level takes a huge amount of luck so prepare to play it numerous times to get that 3rd star. Start hitting mystery bubbles on one side or the other. If you hit a bomb go ahead and surround it. Shoot UP as much as possible. The bottom of your screen can quickly get blocked so continue to shoot up as much as you can. In a perfect world, you will get a bunch of green spiders and hit mystery bubbles that drop bubbles on them to build up your score before you drop the ceiling.
OPTIONAL WEBBING: If you happen to own webbing, use it as soon as you have a few green spiders, don't wait til the end when you drop the screen.
Also: if you are blocked from hitting mystery bubbles, it sometimes helps to ADD a bubble under the bottom row to lift the screen up to give you a better angle and hit just a few more.
The reason I used the Golden Spider potion is that once all the bubbles drop, your green spiders turn blue immediately so having a few golden spiders around seemed to help.
